Prepare the path with collective leadership for instructional coaching - Transformative Coaching 101
This module teaches instructional coaches about the steps and tools to “co-create” goals for future learning opportunities in an ongoing cycle that promotes transformation.
Learning objectives
In this module, you will:
- Collaborate with leadership to develop a shared leadership model and transform teaching and learning; implement coaching strategies that guide educators in the impactful integration of technology and create a culture of innovation
- Collaborate with educators in the identification of personalized instructional and academic challenges and goals; develop strategies to address them, making data-informed decisions
- Describe personalized coaching strategies that address individual educators’ challenges and student needs
- Explain how to increase student engagement, learning, and academic achievement through the coaching strategies that support evidence-based instructional practices
- Create collaborative and supportive opportunities for educators’ ongoing professional learning, including PLCs, through an embedded coaching cycle
- Identify Microsoft tools that streamline the education process for teachers and students with digital tools that support instructional coaching and teaching
